Katherine is a London based performer, vocal coach and musical director.
She composes and arranges for choir, band and orchestra, you can find examples of her work here. She works in many styles and genres and her projects include musical theatre orchestrations, a cappella Christmas tunes and orchestral settings of Spice Girl songs. She has a first class honours degree in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and a level 6 RSL Teaching Certificate in Vocal Coaching. She works with singers from all backgrounds and abilities, from beginner to professional, working on repertoire, technique, performance skills and audition prep.
In 2023, her children’s choir were chosen to perform during the King’s Christmas Speech. Katherine conducted and directed them during the recording at Buckingham Palace.
Katherine is a fun and clever arranger and stands out clearly as one of the UK’s up and coming talents. Her arranging skills have already helped drive both professional a cappella groups and county youth choirs showing the range and scope of her awareness of voicing needs; which is all rooted in a deep and highly trained understanding of voice technique.
